Job Title: Associate IT Manager UK
Hotel Location: The office based will be in Melia White House with regular travel to other UK locations. Travel expenses between locations will be reimbursed by the employer.
Salary: £38K annual
Mission: To ensure the proper implementation of any changes, maintenance and constant support with regard to any applications used in hotel operations as well as the infrastructure that supports them.
The Assoc. IT Manager will support to Head of IT to manage the UK IT function, that provides a dedicated IT service across six properties. You will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and leading software and hardware-related activities, including implementing and maintaining computer systems to fulfil IT systems and infrastructure requirements.
What will you be doing?
- With support from the Head of IT (UK), manage IT service contracts for hotels, guaranteeing compliance with the standards defined by MHI.
- Provide practical support for the IT services in hotels, managing the day-to-day operational requirements.
- Manage the implementation of projects or strategic services in the IT area, providing support to the Hotel Services function.
- Supervise the IT preventative and corrective maintenance of computer equipment to avoid failures that would impact hotel operations, and follow up on any proposed changes or improvements.
- Supervise compliance with agreements, propose improvements, support the procurement area to ensure the application of the approved and updated technical criteria.
- Ensure compliance with the controls required by IT audits carried out in the business units in the operations centre.
- Ensure correct knowledge and compliance with PCI, Secure Mail, MHI regulatory framework and other IT policies applicable to the area.
Requirements:
- A minimum 2 years’ experience in an IT role.
- Experience with Windows server.
- Understanding of Cloud architecture.
- Knowledge of cyber-security and vulnerability management.
- Experience with Property Management Systems & POS system desirable.
- Good understanding of GDPR and regulatory frameworks.
