IT Manager
Location: CHANEL – Toronto, Ontario
Reports to: Canada VP Finance and UK Region CIO
Contract: Full-time and Permanent
Your role @ Chanel:
As IT Manager, you will work as part of the Regional Tech Team to ensure that Regional and Global projects, processes, and architecture answer the needs of the Canadian business and are successfully deployed into Canada. You will lead the IT practice and work with the IT team to implement the technology strategy for the company.

- Manage the IT team of 6 people;

- Modernize and professionalize IT Services;
- Define the ideal organization and development plan for the team;
- Implement of the Regional and Global IT strategy in alignment with the local management committee;
- Build the IT roadmap to achieve the strategy with the IT team;
- Collaborate with all the business partners to deliver the projects portfolio;
- Implement efficient operating models to provide the adequate support model;
- Ensure running operations are safe and regularly maintained to keep them operational;
- Comply with internal policies and local regulations;
- Navigate the governance matrix, to balance business expectations and the IT team’s ability to deliver;
- Ensure our data is protected and work with Information Security to protect our systems;
- Ensure that projects are managed in time and within budget;
- Be a key member of the UK Region Tech Leadership team.
What you will bring to the role:
- Experience in a senior IT leadership position with excellent team management capabilities;
- Excellent ITIL / ITSM skills and appreciation;
- A Vision, to identify opportunities;
- Decisiveness, to push the right priorities;
- Creativity, to design innovative solutions;
- Drive, to manage the project portfolio and develop the team;
- Inspiring leadership to attract, develop and retain digital and tech talents;
- Writing and Speaking proficiency in French will be considered a strong asset to communicate with our colleagues across Canada.
