Job Title: IT Engineer- Computer Repairer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computer and Mobile Repairer to join our team and provide expert technical support and repair services for a variety of computer systems, laptops, mobile phones, and tablets. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of hardware and software troubleshooting, repair techniques, and a passion for solving technical challenges. As a Computer and Mobile Repairer, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining devices to ensure optimal functionality for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose hardware and software issues on a wide range of computer systems, laptops, mobile phones, and tablets.
  • Perform hardware repairs, including replacing components such as screens, batteries, motherboards, CPUs, RAM, and connectors.
  • Troubleshoot and repair software-related problems, including operating system issues, software conflicts, and data recovery.
  • Provide technical support to clients, both in person and remotely, addressing their inquiries and resolving technical problems.
  • Repair and replace damaged components using specialized tools and equipment.
  • Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify the root causes of problems and provide accurate solutions.
  • Perform software installations, updates, and configurations on various devices.
  • Collaborate with customers to explain repair processes, costs, and expected outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and services provided for documentation and billing purposes.
  • Stay informed about the latest technology trends, advancements, and industry best practices.
  • Provide recommendations to clients on device maintenance, upgrades, and preventive measures.
  • Ensure all repairs are conducted following proper safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by delivering repaired devices in a timely manner and maintaining a professional demeanor.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Computer and Mobile Repairer or IT technician, with a strong track record of successfully diagnosing and repairing various devices.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
  • Familiarity with different operating systems, including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
  • Strong knowledge of computer and mobile device components, peripherals, and their functions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Customer-oriented attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Physical ability to perform delicate repairs on small devices.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts is a plus.

Salary: £26,500.00 per year
