The IT Engineer/ Programmer establishes and maintains network performance by building net configurations and connection, troubleshooting network problems. Maintain and upgrade ERP software programs.
Working Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-5 pm.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Enhancements to and maintenance of existing ERP systems.
- Data auditing and database management.
- Software and hardware support for users.
- Maintenance of network, firewall, servers, and other hardware.
- Provide support and expertise for IT related issues to non-technical users.
- Miscellaneous IT support.
Preferred Qualification and Experiences:
- Experience in or knowledge of Microsoft SQL. Understanding of stored procedures, triggers, views an asset.
- Experience in or knowledge of C# for over 2 years.
- Experience in or knowledge of Html, CSS and Javascript is an asset.
- Familiar with Windows Forms programming, DataGridView, DataBinding, Software development processes, Source control (eg. Git), Bug tracking (eg. Jira)
- Experience in Windows desktop application development
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio
- Excellent communication and time management skills. Daily interactions with non-technical users required.
- Analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to view data information provided by others with skepticism and an unbiased view.
- Understanding of computer hardware and network systems an asset.
- Knowledge of supply chain cycle an asset.
