We have a vacancy for an IT Engineer to support this transformation on a fixed term contract until Feb 2024. This role offers a great opportunity to further enhance your career within IT whilst working for a leading charitable organisation.
Salary range £35,022 - £37,245 per annum.

Your contractual location will our head office in Swindon, however there will be an opportunity to explore and agree hybrid working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust.
What you'll be doing:You'll be using your IT skills to become a valued member of the Hosting Services team, within the Infrastructure Pod. You'll be supporting the day to day operations of our Public & Private cloud implementations.
You'll be helping to manage day to day operations of our VMWare, Hyper-V and on premises servers for over 400 locations, and be actively involved with supporting our extensive Microsoft Azure estate as well as a smaller implementation with our AWS estate. You'll be exposed to the latest cloud technologies and techniques to help The National Trust maintain its high quality of BAU support.
As part of this BAU support team, you will have our users at the heart of your decision making processes.
- Communication skills both written and verbal, you'll be communicating with a wide range of stakeholders
- Be able to manage internal IT, business and supplier stakeholders
- Experience with Help Desk and Monitoring solutions such as ServiceNow and PRTG
- Previous experience of 2nd/3rd Line support in an Infrastructure support team
- Experience of working with Windows Server operating systems and Remote Desktop environments
