Job description
Johnsons Service Group is currently seeking an experienced IT Developer to work at our Head Office. You will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of software product components and artefacts to meet the needs of the business.

Key Tasks
- Maintenance and Development of software applications
- Programs, DB’s, interfaces, technical documents, user documents
- Assist in trouble shooting software application issues
- Develop and maintain known issues & workarounds
- Provide IT support to ad hoc business projects
- Administer databases and 3rd party tools for all areas of the business
- Assist in the creation of system designs and technical specs
- Identify, investigate and propose improvement opportunities
- Complete all work to agreed Quality levels
- Operate within agreed processes / policies / structure
- Work as part of a team to promote Development Team values
- Provide technical support for the 1st line Solutions Team
- Other Ad hoc duties as required
Monday to Thursday 08:30-16:30 early finish on Fridays.

Person Specification
- Experience of working with MS SQL, VB.Net, ASP and ideally Oracle
- Experience of working on desktop applications and web solutions
- Experience of working on projects
- A willingness to learn & self-develop
- Pro-active approach to work and information gathering
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work in a team and independently
- Any Microsoft Power Apps and mobile development skills would be desirable
- Microsoft Power BI also desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
