Job description

As the senior finance business partner, you will support the finance director in leading the finance planning and budgeting process, providing finance analysis and advice in business decision-making; and helping the business to better understand business performance (KPI and Metrics);

You will be responsible in working with a number of business areas in financial capacity to provide them with finance advice, and to evaluate business opportunities and to provide options and scenarios for business decisions.

Key responsibilities:

You will support the finance director in streamlining and automating the annual budget and reforecasting process across the company;

You will be responsible to set up KPI and primary metrics for the business and key business areas to effectively report and monitor their performance;

You will be responsible for working with the budget holders to create accurate, timely annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts based on group objectives.

You will also be responsible for monthly reporting and conduct monthly review meeting with relevant budget holders, and continuously monitor the budgeting result;

You will also continue to improve and streamline processes in finance and the operational areas, to consistently drive efficiency and identify cost savings.

You will be involved in any other finance projects such as system implementation etc.

To effectively and efficiently carry out the above responsibilities, you will need to understand and communicate effectively the operational opportunities, risks and sensitivities associated with the financial forecasts and support the budget holder in managing these.

You will need to be able to challenge and influence senior stakeholders to ensure best value for money for any investment and to drive better financial result.

Skills and Requirements:

  • ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualified;
  • Experience in a corporate accounting or finance role, preferable in a gaming company or creative industry;
  • Extensive experiences in performing budgeting and forecasting processes, KPI and performance reporting;
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Solving complex problems and working on initiatives
  • Flexible approach in introducing new procedures and considering the general business acceptance
  • Making difficult or unpopular decisions
  • Managing and influencing senior stakeholders, including those from a non-financial background
