Position Overview:

CCI is building out a best in class front office technology platform which supports data access and analytics via APIs, visualization tools, reporting, and associated toolkits to promote a robust analytics framework which is vital to its investment process. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Python or Java and an interest in cloud-based development. This position will be actively involved in projects as the team executes on work related to API-driven development, and other supporting processes & frameworks. This role will have significant exposure to commercial investment teams in the Firm.

Responsibilities:

Work directly with commercial trading teams to gain an understanding of existing workflows, gather functional & technical requirements for new processes, and understand the investment process.
Build APIs to facilitate data access for commercial trading teams.
Assist in the development of visualization and reporting tools used for business analytics (Power BI, Tableau, in-house, etc.).
Help identify opportunities for improvement in existing workflows.
Partner with Data Science team to create next-generation analytic tools including machine-learning driven platforms and code sets.

Qualifications:

Pursuing a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field of study.
Expected graduation date of Spring/Summer 2025.
Strong analytical skillset with demonstrated attention to detail.
Experience in Python/Java and SQL.
Interest and passion for technology - programming, cloud-based technologies, and analytics.
Ability to communicate and interact with a wide range of users ranging from very technical to non-technical.
