Position Overview:
CCI is building out a best in class front office technology platform which supports data access and analytics via APIs, visualization tools, reporting, and associated toolkits to promote a robust analytics framework which is vital to its investment process. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Python or Java and an interest in cloud-based development. This position will be actively involved in projects as the team executes on work related to API-driven development, and other supporting processes & frameworks. This role will have significant exposure to commercial investment teams in the Firm.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with commercial trading teams to gain an understanding of existing workflows, gather functional & technical requirements for new processes, and understand the investment process.
- Build APIs to facilitate data access for commercial trading teams.
- Assist in the development of visualization and reporting tools used for business analytics (Power BI, Tableau, in-house, etc.).
- Help identify opportunities for improvement in existing workflows.
- Partner with Data Science team to create next-generation analytic tools including machine-learning driven platforms and code sets.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field of study.
- Expected graduation date of Spring/Summer 2025.
- Strong analytical skillset with demonstrated attention to detail.
- Experience in Python/Java and SQL.
- Interest and passion for technology - programming, cloud-based technologies, and analytics.
- Ability to communicate and interact with a wide range of users ranging from very technical to non-technical.
