Job Title: IT / Data Assistant
Salary: NJC/SCP 1-3 (£20,258 - £20,812)
Contracted Hours: 35 hours
Duration: Permanent
Annual Leave: 30 days per annum
Responsible: Development Manager
Accountable to: Senior Strategy Op’s Manager / CEO
Location: Central Hub
Job Purpose:
To assist with a large range of performance and support tasks of YPAS’s electronic management systems:
- Patient Management System (PMS) – IAPTUS
- Organisation Management System (OMS) – YPAS
To assist with the operation and maintenance of YPAS’s IT systems: computer networks and communication systems.
To support YPAS’s workforce in the daily use of data input, always ensuring adherence to legal and company standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
To assist and work in conjunction with YPAS’s Data Lead, in response to the following:
- To assist with overseeing the development and use of YPAS’s data management systems
- To regularly monitor and evaluate information that could affect analytical results.
- To assist with the protection of YPAS data, pertinent to security breaches and data losses
- To assist with the formulation of techniques and training for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy, and legitimacy of data
- To maintain an openness to new approaches, seek different perspectives and experiment with new techniques
- To assist with presenting insights to stakeholders and provide visual data summaries
- To assist with system interpretation.
- To assist with collective data gathering and data flow
- To assist with generating data reports in accordance with submission dates
- To assist with routine maintenance checks / internal audits on the data management system to ensure data integrity
- To produce and present data reports and presentations to the workforce and teams .
- To assist with reviewing and monitoring the quality and accuracy of data for inconsistencies or anomalies
- To assist with troubleshooting data-related problems and recommendations
- To assist with the maintenance and staff support required in response to YPAS’s Organisational Management System (OMS)
To assist and work in conjunction with YPAS’s IT Leads, in response to the following:
- To assist with the operation and maintenance of YPAS’s IT systems: computer networks and communication systems.
- Troubleshoots, diagnoses problems, implements corrective action procedures
In addition:
- To be committed to value based and anti-discriminatory practice
- To participate and consult within YPAS’s policy review system
- To share knowledge and skills through training as and when required.
- To engage with all YPAS services in response to internal pathways
- To contribute to the organisation’s annual report content.
- To undertake any additional duties consistent with the nature of this position as agreed
- To actively participate in the quality assurance of the service via appropriate systems in accordance with ISO9001
- To adhere to the data security and information governance compliance requirements in accordance with GDPR
- To safeguard children, young people, and families by adhering to the protocols of YPAS and the LSCP (Liverpool Safeguarding Children Partnership)
- To identify and access appropriate training and personal development opportunities

- To actively participate in the evaluation and quality assurance of the organisation

- To engage with all YPAS services and staff team members

Information Governance:
