Job description
Digital transformation of NIE Networks’ business processes will be a key requirement for a number of years. We are increasingly becoming a data-driven organisation and this evolution will require more business-aligned IT activity to support improvements in data quality and reporting. Over the next few years, NIE Networks will be transforming from a Distribution Network Operator (DNO) to a Distribution System Operator (DSO). The emerging requirements of DSO will drive a step change in data and the need for flexibility and agility to enable the business to respond to the new challenge.
In addition, NIE Networks is engaged with the Department for Energy on the development of a new Strategic Energy Framework for Northern Ireland (NI) as well as preparing for our next (RP7) Price Control. It is clear from these engagements that the requirements to collect, process and distribute increasingly complex data to multiple stakeholders will be a core part of our future.
To assist with these challenges we are seeking to recruit an IT Business Analyst to join our in-house team. For further information, the Candidate Briefing Document is available to download from the NIE Networks website
