The role: To help support the company’s IT users and systems on a day-to-day basis. To contribute to and support IT infrastructure projects across the business.
Key Responsibilities
General
Support –
- Windows PC and Mac hardware.
- Windows system administration.
- Active Directory users and groups.
- Office365 cloud portal administration.
- Office applications such as Word, Excel, Teams, and other business applications.
- Server hardware.
- Synology NAS.
- Backup systems and recovery procedures.
- Network cabling and infrastructure including switches and firewalls.
- Printers and multifunction devices.
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware issues.
- Phones and conference systems including VOIP (Mitel).
- Cyber security procedures and systems including threat and phishing protection, endpoint security systems.
- Maintain the company asset register.
- Provide support to end users to allow them to do their jobs effectively.
- Adhere to policies and procedures.
- Contribute to IT projects as and when required.
Individual Capabilities:
- Excellent interpersonal skills: This role is primarily about helping people, being capable of developing good working relationships is essential.
- Good technical aptitude and an ability to learn on-the-go. We don’t expect anyone to know everything, but you will need the ability to learn quickly in order to respond to new issues as they arise.
General responsibilities:
