Your tasks
Duty Statements and Key Responsibilities (Greentube Group)
· Act as the 2nd level support for the Service Desk for corporate IT-related topics.
· Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate).
· Suggest improvements for corporate IT processes.
· Collaborate and support in troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
· Drive and collaborate on Projects as a team member.
· Support the Service Desk by creating knowledge-base articles.
· Train the Service Desk to improve their skillset.
· Work with EUC to test and evaluate end-user technology.
· Shared responsibility for Client OS patching, firmware and applications and keeping devices compliant.
Location-Specific Responsibilities (UK Office)
· 1st level support for issues arising at UK subsidiary.
· Administration of local CCTV, Phone and Access Control Systems.
· Installation of new hardware (e.g., servers, switches) to support the 3rd-level engineers.
· Keeping IT inventory up to date in CMDB.
· Liaising with suppliers and preparing purchase orders in line with the process.
· Onboarding and offboarding of employee hardware.
· Documentation of any changes to systems or processes.
About you
· Completed education with an IT-focus.
· A minimum of 1-year work experience in a similar role, with a focus on technical support / help desk.
· Very good knowledge of client standard software (MS Windows, Office, Adobe, etc.).
· Fundamental technical knowledge (networking, software and hardware, AD, client infrastructure).
· High level of commitment supported by a strong customer and service-oriented way of working.
· First-hand experience with a ticketing system is an advantage.
· Communicative personality.
· A high level of resilience, even in stressful situations.
· The desire to develop.
· Reliable and accurate work style.
· Very good command of English, both spoken and written.
