Job description

This person will lead day-to-day Information Technology administration and support all aspects of our Information Technology function. This employee will need to possess a strong technical knowledge needed to assess technical problems and come up with effective and efficient solutions. He or she will have an ownership mentality and be proactive in coming up with solutions and processes. This person will also be responsive, and service-minded as he or she will be working with team members within the company. This candidate will be focused on responding and adapting to business needs, developing technical and leadership abilities, and delivering value consistently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Software & Hardware Management, Network administration/support.
  • Own operating system, software implementation and patch management updates.
  • Implement Content and Device Management policies
  • Own and administer training to business users as needed.
  • Respond to and solve IT help desk requests as needed.
  • Network/Infrastructure Administration and Maintenance Including IT Security.
  • Manage subscriptions (Office 365)
  • Investigate, evaluate, and collaborate with the IT manager on how to best solve IT needs
  • Refine and maintain IT systems and policies and support Information security program as needed.
  • Evaluate information received from the monitoring and reviewing of IT incidents, recommend, take proactive and appropriate actions in response to IT security policy.
  • Create ad-hoc reports utilizing reporting analytics or similar SQL/query tools
  • Collaborate with vendors and think creatively to find solutions to user and system issues
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Preferred Financial related background
  • Technical skills and ability to problem solve network LAN/WAN, wireless, routers, switches and problem solve business applications as needed.
  • Experience in phone systems engineering PBX or cloud telephony solutions.
  • Strong knowledge IT related fields and technologies including Veeam, virtual environments, and the ability to create ad-hoc reports utilizing reporting analytics or similar SQL/query tools.
  • Experience researching and implementing new/emerging technologies and best practices.
  • Ability to execute day-to-day tasks while executing and planning for larger IT projects and future IT needs
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality required
  • Detailed orientated
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with little to no supervision.
  • Resourceful, proactive, and an excellent problem solver

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel to/from Service First locations may be required.
  • A valid Driver’s License required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift-up to 45 pounds at times.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM, on-call Saturdays 8:45 am to 12:15 pm (rotating). Additional evenings and weekends as needed.

Must be able to pass a background check and credit check
