IT Analyst - Programmer

Job Summary


The IT Analyst/Programmer – Dealer Portal is an integral part of the Product Teams in the Agile Software Delivery Process. The IT Analyst I – Dealer Portal enriches the team in the areas of Requirements Analysis, Design, Development, Testing and Production Support.


Requirements Analysis

  • Refinement of User Stories and Features
  • Methodical support in generating ideas with Product Owners and Subject Matter Experts
  • Definition of the integration points with other systems and communication of the effects of possible system changes in cooperation with other teams
  • Support in estimating efforts for new developments and improvements
  • Knowledge transfer for new and changed functions for the change management process


Design & Development

  • Contribution to the definition of wireframes and visual designs
  • Maintaining and managing all software applications and protocols
  • Designing and developing new enhanced functionality for software applications
  • Translating business needs and requirements into programming languages
  • Create reusable, effective, and scalable code


Continuous Testing

  • Quality assurance of the implementation of technical and functional requirements
  • Planning and execution of tests
  • Definition of test conditions and scripts
  • Analysis of test results


Production Support

  • Successful processing of dealer inquiries for troubleshooting and changes as part of the AGCO IT incident process
  • Good problem solving and error analysis
  • Monitoring of the system uptime


General

  • Active participation and preparation for agile ceremonies such as Product Increment Planning, Sprint Planning, Refinements, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives
  • Responsibility for compliance with all AGCO guidelines by all employees and teams, as well as compliance with all control processes and standards


Qualifications / Experience

  • Bachelor`s / Master`s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or equivalent education
  • Several years of professional experience
  • Relevant experience in software development
  • Knowledge of agile methods (e.g. SAFe) is an advantage
  • Experience in requirements engineering, testing and production support is desirable
  • Analytical comprehensive thinking
  • Good communication skills in spoken and written English
  • Independent and solution-oriented behaviour
  • Strong analytical, holistic and conceptual thinking
  • Proven Experience with SQL/MySQL
  • Hands on experience on HTML/CSS/JavaScript/JQuery
  • Hands on experience on C#/ASP.Net (classic .ASP)
  • Hands on experience in integrating SOAP/Restful web services/JSON
  • Experience and knowledge of Portals
