CSO & Site Administrator

Although our Head Office is located in Langley, BC, our CSO/Site Administrators operate on each of our major project sites located throughout the lower mainland and some of our current large projects are specifically in Burnaby, Richmond and North Vancouver.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure completion of Daily Field Level Hazard Assessment
- Participate and record all JOSH, Site Toolbox, and Safety meetings
- Conduct, monitor and record job site inspections
- Provide safety support by collecting and uploading daily PSA’s; performing site and equipment inspections; updating story boards, lessons learned, SOP’s; and assists with facilitating tool-box meetings and maintaining statistics on workplace accidents in the yard and applicable investigations
- Assist in onboarding employees hired in the yard by providing them with an on-site and safety orientations
- Manage, monitor and update site training workers training on On-Track inventory system
- Participate in weekly trade meetings as required to support Site Superintendent
- Act as a liaison to all employees for all safety requirements during project including the Site General
Contractor, Superintendent & Forman
- Ensure employee time is recorded and sent to payroll for processing
- Manage and monitor man counts for submission
- Place Material Request Forms for jobsite
- Daily update Note Vault with photos and site updates
- Reconcile asset counts on a monthly basis
- Comply with all WorkSafe (WCB) procedures and safety practices including on site work practices and guidelines
- Responsible for safety purchase orders and support site staff for material purchases (safety admin)
- Ensure that all safety records are stored and accessible to all parties electronically (One Drive)
- Willing and able to work overtime as required including weekends
- Have reliable transportation to all job sites
Skills and Experience:
- OFA Level 2 minimum, higher level (or previous holding higher level) preferred
- Minimum 1 year CSO experience
- Experience in construction formwork using Peri and Doka systems is considered an asset
- Proficient with MS Suite – Outlook, Word and Excel and previous experience working with related spreadsheets Knowledge and the ability to comply with all WorkSafe (WCB) procedures/safety practices including on site work practices and guidelines
- Knowledge of construction industry and/or concrete forming preferred
- Knowledge of WorkSafe (WCB) procedures/safety practices
- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management skills
- Ability to speak Spanish considered and asset
- Must have personal protection equipment (PPE) and a reliable means of transportation to job sites
- Must be able to work outdoors on occasion in adverse weather conditions
- Must be reliable, dependable and detail-oriented
