IT Administrator

Pulse-Eight Group requires an IT Administrator with a broad skill set to support a growing and rapidly evolving enterprise.

  • You will be the singular person responsible for the business network infrastructure, deploying & managing all of our network fabric.
  • You will be provisioning and specifying new (or redeploying existing) computers for new employees, supporting predominantly Windows 10/11 alongside a small complement of Mac laptops.
  • You will also need to support our general infrastructure (printers, scanners and VOIP phones etc) to keep the business flowing.
  • You will also need to ensure our Servers are patched and well maintained (backups etc) to support failure recovery or cyber intrusions.
  • Remote network management of our international offices (usually comprising up to 20 people) along with individual remote working staff.
Required Skills
  • Networking Expert, able to manage VLANs, DHCP Configuration, router configuration, split & failover routing, port forwarding etc.
  • Active Directory and Federated Access (via Azure)
  • Linux and Windows Server configuration, Hyper-V.
  • Ability to build a PC from scratch (component parts), perform upgrades etc.
  • Microsoft Exchange Server
  • Group Policy Management
Desired
  • Excellent knowledge of Ubiquiti hardware, configuration/deployment and support.
  • Wireless networks, managing network efficiency and capacity requirements around our campuses, secure access and guest access.
  • Ubiquiti Door Access control systems
  • IIS, SQL Server management.
  • Powershell Scripting
