Job title: IT Administrator
Location: Reading (with some flexibility to work from home)
Salary: Up to £23,000.00 per annum, depending on experience

We are recruiting a full time IT Administrator to join a thriving and busy IT Department. This is a new roll within the IT team at a very exciting time within the IT and the business.
The IT Administrator will provide efficient and effective administrative support for the IT teams and to be involved in the IT administration support to IT colleagues. The role will also require liaison with a wide range of stakeholders and the role-holder will be required to support the day-to-day administration of IT services.
This full-time role involves hybrid working with 1 or 2 days a week in the office, based in Reading. The IT Administrator will be called upon to support staff based in the IT team and our internal end users.
Ideally, candidates must have a keen interest in IT, are able to work on their own, as part of a team in a busy and dynamic department and want to deliver excellent customer service.
Knowledge
Essential:
- Minimum GCSE Grade C/4 in Maths and English, or equivalent
- Good working knowledge of Office 365, in particular Excel
- Working knowledge of an IT call logging system
Experience
Essential:
- Experience of providing administrative support and coordination to a team
- Working on multiple projects and tasks
- Proven experience of dealing with and responding to multiple stakeholders
Desirable:
- Customer facing experience of handling and resolving queries effectively.
- Experience of updating database records accurately
Due to the nature of this role the ideal candidate must have excellent customer service and telephone skills, have the ability to think creatively and be able to problem solve under pressure, plus self-motivation, effective time management and organisational skills.
Please note we do not have a car park however the office is accessible via public transport.
