Could you make a fantastic Support Worker?
Support Work opportunities available now in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.
Rates of pay: £11.20 per hour/ Earn up to £28,083 per annum. A generous sick pay scheme and paid training with financial bonuses for completion of awards and diplomas.
Full time, Part time and Relief contracts available.
Full UK driving licence with own car essential.
Who will I be supporting?
Dimensions have two supported living homes in Hemel Hempstead, one supporting a woman and another home supporting one gentleman in his mid-twenty's.
Both are very sociable and are great fun to be around.
They love swimming, yoga, running (this gentleman often takes part in marathons and 5k runs), coffee and cake, woodwork and spending time with their family and friends.
Both people are supported to live independently in their own home
What will I be doing?
You will be supporting them to live their life how they choose, to be themselves and achieve their goals.
You will be supporting them with personal care, medication, meal preparation, and domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
They both have a Motability car to further aid their independence, so you will need the full UK driving licence to join their team.
What shifts are available?
Shifts for our fantastic lady will vary between 8 am-10 pm and are dependent on the activities for the day. There will be a requirement to support sleep-in shifts.
This gentleman is supported 9 am-5 pm or 5 pm-10 pm plus a sleep-in shift. He is currently supported by Dimensions 4 days per week.
We are looking for people with the flexibility to work a combination of these shifts on a rota basis that includes weekends and bank holidays.
Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to allow a healthy work-life balance.
