Job description
The post holder will be a key member of the Out of Hospital senior clinical workforce, with responsibility for the clinical oversight and leadership of ISPA (Integrated Single Point of Access) as part the Out of Hospital offering.

The post holder will work with the ISPA Service providing specialist advice, supervision and support for Clinicians working within the ISPA to ensure the delivery of quality, safe and effective ways of working. To provide clinical and managerial leadership and expert advice ensuring the service is clinically safe, timely, efficient, effective, and equitable and patient-focused.

To be a visible, credible role model and advocate for high quality, safe and effective clinical triage provision across the City
Promote a culture where staff feel empowered and accountable for ISPA improvement and clinical developments at local level.
Provide professional / clinical expert advice and guidance within the ISPA Out of Hospital delivery, ensuring that Clinical triage is of a consistently and sustainable high standard in line with national guidance, Trust policy and evidence-based practice.
Develop, implement, monitor and review clinical guidelines, policies and procedures for Out of Hospital in line with best practice guidance
Work with the Practice Development Facilitators and other Senior Clinicians within OOH in the development, monitoring and reviewing of the clinical competencies to ensure staff are competent with the right level of knowledge, skill and expertise to deliver clinical triage for the ISPA.
