What is the team like?
The Cheltenham Investment Management office is comprised of qualified investment professionals with extensive market experience supported by administrative experts of similarly long standing. We include a large Financial Planning team who work with our Investment Managers and their clients, plus a specialist Portfolio Management Team focusing on our growing proportion of discretionary mandates. As an office we look after £1.1bn of assets in a collaborative and lively atmosphere, sharing the vast knowledge and skillsets of the wider firm to produce optimum client outcomes.
About the role:
The role will be to work as part of a team with a view to taking on a client bank very quickly from a retiring Director. This role would particularly suit someone who is fully qualified and familiar with speaking to clients.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to;
Managing & further developing a client bank of c£30M
Contributing to the growth of the office and team
Providing a high quality of advice and care of clients
Maintaining high standards of compliance
Working with the Office Head to minimise risk and maximise growth
About you:
Experienced in Investment Management
Existing experience of managing client relationships
Highly collaborative and thrive in a team environment
Willingness to contribute to the wider team
Honest, reliable, and diligent
Qualifications
Qualified to Level 7 CISI qualified or Chartered FCA or equivalent.
What core skills and knowledge are we seeking?
A keen interest in investment services and products and an eagerness to learn more.
A working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Excellent personal organisation and planning skills, time management skills with an ability to meet deadlines.
