Job responsibilities
Assist the IB product and coverage teams including but not limited to:
- Primary point of contact for bankers to coordinate & complete key transactional tasks
- Participate in bankers' regional meetings to proactively identify areas to add value and potential roadblocks that need to be addressed
- Provide transparency on overall process and progress
- Monitor deal controls to ensure milestones are met & achieved in a timely manner
- Participation in global process enhancements
- Collaborate with business and support functions to spread and leverage best practices
- Manage and conduct process improvement and project work with key stakeholders across the business
- Previous experience & sound knowledge of investment banking products (Acquisition and Leveraged Finance, Debt Capital CM, M&A,ECM) as well as Global Corporate Banking products & processes
- Comfortable dealing with clients/senior executives on a regular or ad hoc basis
- Highly self-motivated to work independently and on broad based teams that cross Lines of Business
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
