The Role
LGPS Central Limited is seeking to recruit an Investment Analysts - Private Markets to be based in the Wolverhampton offices of LGPS Central Limited. The successful candidate will work across the Private Markets team to deliver high quality investment analysis across all relevant asset classes: Private Credit, Private Equity, Infrastructure and Real Estate.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will hold a degree level qualification and/or a relevant industry qualification with experience of and knowledge of financial analysis of private debt investments of 5 years plus.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience/Competence:
- Experience of investment processes within Private Market asset classes, preferably gained with an asset manager or other financial institution.
- Knowledge of the Private Markets investment landscapes and understanding of the inherent risk- reward relationship
- Demonstrated skill in originating, analysing and recommending investments
- IMC gained and working towards CFA qualification or similar, or relevant investment experience would be an advantage
- Highly organised, proactive and motivated self-starter.
- High degree of professional ethics, integrity and gravitas.
- Excellent judgement and analytical skills.
- First class interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree and/or professional qualification
- IMC gained and working towards CFA or similar qualification or relevant investment experience would be a plus.
