Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Marketing Communications Manager to join our Investment Management Marketing team. In this role you will lead a team focused on creating content, leading sales enablement, building digital marketing experiences and executing other marketing/distribution strategies for BBH’s Investment Management line of business. This role will be responsible for communicating brand and content marketing aligned with sales strategies and will specifically oversee the content creation and distribution, segment marketing and digital/social functions, as well as collaborate closely with team members across the marketing organization.

The successful candidate will have experience in brand marketing, content and digital/social. Experience in financial services is preferable. This person should be an excellent communicator (written, verbal) and can manage multiple priorities and deadlines. The role will have direct reports and be supported by additional central resources and agencies.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

Marketing & Communications

Lead the content creation, sales enablement digital/social and lead generation marketing functions and manage junior marketers who assist in those functions
Collaborate closely with PB/InServ sales enablement teams to execute IM SE instance with automated strategy presentations, platform and tools that support business development efforts
Oversee the commentary lifecycle workflow and provide support the PM teams to develop content
Oversee the creation of select communications necessary to build and manage the brand
Ensure all work is on brand and compliant and all branding is consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and appropriate given the channel of distribution

Team Leader

Act as a senior leader on the Communication and Distribution Marketing pillar, helping to communicate the marketing vision and inspire others to work together to execute on it
Oversee junior marketing professionals and provide strategic support and coaching to help achieve marketing objectives
Communicate key priorities and monitor direct reports’ progress against goals

Measurement & Reporting

Measure and report on communication and distribution KPIs for Head of Marketing and senior leadership
Regularly report on respective marketing activities to oversight groups

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent
Minimum 8 years of experience
FINRA certifications
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent conceptual and critical thinking skills
Strong product marketing skills
Experience in brand, content, and digital/social marketing
Experience leading small marketing teams
Ability to build relationships across products and organizational groups
Strong negotiating and influencing skills
Action oriented and excited to “roll up sleeves” and work on a variety of projects
Knowledge of investment, economic and business concepts and BBH products/services a plus
Knowledge of risk management controls and compliance policies a plus

Salary Range

$130,000-$160,000

BBH’s compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
