We are looking for a Inventory Supervisor to join us on a full-time, permanent basis. Managing a team of 2 inventory controllers to support and assist the Warehouse operation by organizing and managing the inventory function (stock management, WMS maintenance, stock movements).
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 09:00am – 17:00pm
Salary: £31,487 per annum

Job Description:
- Overseeing the required perpetual cycle counting activities are carried out to the required standard, ensuring all discrepancies are investigated and reconciled in accordance with established procedures, highlighting any areas of concern in a timely manner.
- Establish and maintain good customer relationships both internal and external, acting as the key customer contact for queries.
- Attend regular inventory meetings to review performance and issues, providing accurate data in accordance with customer expectations.
- To recognise and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. To lead and be part of project teams using CI methodology to measure and demonstrate improvements for presentation to customer.
- Oversee employee relations procedures such as holiday authorisations to ensure sufficient levels of employees are available as required to meet operational demands, raising in a timely manner where additional staff are required either on a temporary or permanent basis.
- Ensure all company procedures are adhered to, including ER procedures, such as absence and performance management, standards of behaviour, disciplinary, PDR etc, supporting with investigations and disciplinary hearings as necessary.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, taking appropriate action where procedures are not being adhered to or could be improved.
- Ensure all equipment checks are carried out in accordance with procedure, taking appropriate action to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Qualifications:
- Good standard of basic education, maths & English
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy levels
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office suite with advanced excel skills essential
- Strong analytical skills
- WMS experience, AS/400 Opus and SAP is Essential
- Previous experience with continuous improvement and use of lean six sigma tools and methodology desirable
- Experience Managing a team or conducting disciplinaries is desirable.
