We’re looking for a full-time Inventory Manager to join us on our shared user site in Leicester. You’ll work Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 17:00pm ensuring the general operational efficiency of our inventory function.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £38,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:
Support delivery of Operational, Contracted KPI's- Support the production of daily, weekly and monthly performance reports
- Review and maintain site Business Continuity Plans
- SOP, SSOW and RA reviews and maintenance, in conjunction with the operations teams
- Ensure all colleagues are trained, with the right skill sets for their role, in line with the customers activity requirements with an added focus on their wellbeing at all times
- Manage the resource levels within the stock control team, recruiting where required as well as engaging with temporary labour suppliers, managing forecasts, budgets and key efficiency metrics at all times.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
Previous experience in an inventory management role in a fast-paced, large warehouse operation- A solid knowledge of stock processes and procedures
- The ability to identify improvements and use key performance indicators to improve performance and efficiency
- Confidence in the use of IT, especially warehouse management systems such as DLx and Microsoft Office packages
