Our client based out of King's College Hospital, Camberwell, are looking for a Stock Control Operative to work on a full-time and ongoing assignment
The contractor's role is to oversee the hospital equipment logistics at King's College Hospital from goods received all the way to theatres and wards
Duties of the Stock Control Operative may include:
- Picking medical equipment in a warehouse type environment
- Using computers to track stock levels
- Moving equipment by hand through hospital onto wards and theatres
- Abiding by strict health and safety and hygiene rules
Requirements of the candidate:
- Polite and well-mannered
- Previous logistics/stock/warehouse experience preferred
- Able to commute to the role in a reasonable amount of time, even during trail strike days
- Referenceable work history
- Be available full-time, including some occasional weekends (paid at a premium)
Please be advised that a DBS check will be arranged for you on successful application, and due to the nature of the work environment this will be expected to be returned as clear
Hours of work-
8:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday, plus some weekend overtime
Rate of pay-
£13.61
