Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk looking for a dynamic opportunity with a rapidly growing manufacturing organisation? If so, we have the perfect role for you! Sheridan Maine is thrilled to be recruiting a talented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our client's finance team during this exciting phase of expansion.
As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will play a vital role in the finance department, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of purchase invoices and payments. This part-time role offers the flexibility to work 20-25 hours per week, and the organisation is open to discussing various options for how these hours can be structured.
Your responsibilities as the Purchase Ledger Clerk will include:
Processing a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently- Matching purchase invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
- Setting up new supplier accounts
- Processing expense claims
- Handling supplier queries and building strong working relationships
- Processing and coding of credit card statements
- Reviewing and maintaining creditors ledger
To be considered for the role of Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will require the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk and good bookkeeping skills
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
