Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk
Pay Bracket: £23,000 - £26,000
Location: Trafford Park, Manchester

This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing business based in Trafford, Manchester. This role would suit an individual who has the ambition and passion to forge a long-lasting career in finance.
Ideally you will be working towards an AAT qualification or have equivalent experience. You will be an integral member of a well-established team, working across several areas within their group.
Your main roles and responsibilities:
- Processing purchase invoices
- Ensuring all invoices match purchase orders or are authorised.
- Coding of invoices/credit notes to the correct P&L, Creditor and VAT accounts
- Managing expenses on a weekly basis and deal with all expenses related queries
- Assist implementation of new PO system
- Manage PO system when implemented.
- Reconciliation of accounts and statements
- Raise sales invoices for websites on a weekly basis.
- Assisting with ad-hoc finance tasks
An ideal person for this position will have the following attributes / skill set:
- An accountancy/finance degree is preferred but we will also accept applications from similar degree fields.
- Basic knowledge of accounting practice.
- Strong communication skills.
- Desire to learn and self-develop within a fast-moving business.
- Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines.

- Excellent understanding of Excel.
