To join our fantastic team at Statham Grove Surgery, by Clissold Park in Stoke Newington
30-36 hours per week, extended access work with time off in lieu may be required, there is flexibility on days of the week and length of days worked.
5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays, the post holder will be entitled to join the NHS pension scheme
We are looking for a highly motivated HCA to join our team, you will have both clinical and some administrative duties further training is encouraged.
Duties will include (training can be provided) –
- Phlebotomy
- BP monitoring
- Urinalysis
- NHS Health Checks
- Administration of intramuscular injections, including flu and COVID vaccinations
- ECGs
- Ear irrigation for removal of ear wax
- Provide health promotion and lifestyle advice to patients and be familiar with services provided by relevant local and community organisations
- Weight monitoring
- Minor dressings
- Diabetic foot checks
- Peak Flow Measurement
- Temperature and Pulse recording
- Act as a chaperone during patient consultations
- Attend to patients awaiting emergency treatment/admission
- Instruct patients in appropriate techniques or tasks
- Assist clinicians with coil and LARC clinics
- Assist in clinical sessions as directed by clinicians (eg -dressings, minor surgery)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £11.33-£13.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
