We're looking for a highly organised, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about accounting and finance. The Purchase Ledger Clerk will be responsible for the whole purchase ledger process, from purchase orders through to invoices and reconciliation. We are seeking a hardworking individual who enjoys working independently and who is highly motivated to excel in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Matching, checking and coding Goods received notes & invoices
- Managing and resolving invoice disputes
- Making payments via BACS and cheques
- Processing staff expenses
- Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Filing invoices
- Data entry
- Being first point of contact for all relevant enquiries
- Reviewing systems and processes and making improvements where necessary
- Managing material held in stock and allocating costs
- Front desk & reception duties when required (cover)
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25-30 per week
Salary: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
