We are looking for an Inventory Control Manager to join our growing team. This is a new role and a great opportunity for the successful candidate to carve out the role as their own.
Based at our head office in Harlow, you will be working closely with our Warehouse and Logistics Departments, as well as our Directors and National Team (global). You will be responsible for managing the inventory control process for our 3 UK locations, per the standard operations procedures and instruction of the Operations Manager and the US national team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar inventory control role within the AV, lighting and production events sector.
Primary responsibilities
- Collaborate with Regional Purchasing, Asset Manager and General Managers for UK specific locations.
- Assign barcodes to new inventory.
- Conduct and coordinate bi-annual physical inventory or as needed.
- Fix/correct rental and sales inventory discrepancies within the Company system.
- Entering re-order points & quantities for sales inventory items.
- Processing intercompany equipment transfers within the Company system.
- Handling receiving discrepancies and damages.
- Quality control on new cases to ensure stencilling is correct and up to specifications.
- Collaborating with designated Brand Book “owner” on new stencil placements.
- Handling and processing of RMA's.
- Maintain high business relations.
- Work in a safe manner and as per health and safety guidance at all times
- Communicate in a positive, informative and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment employees.
- Some travel is required amongst the 3 UK locations and any future additional locations.
- 3-5 years inventory control experience
- Experience working in entertainment and event AV, lighting, production or similar industries.
- Strong numeracy skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Outstanding organisational skills
- Strong IT skills - must be proficient in Excel, PPT, Word, and highly familiar utilising an ERP tool
- The ability to work well and meet deadlines in a fast paced work environment
- A keen eye for detail
- A great team player with a positive 'can do' attitude
- The ability and willingness to travel as required.
