With over 20 years’ experience in providing the very best communication support to Deaf people in the UK, Clarion UK are proud to be the providers of non-spoken language professionals to the Ministry of Justice.
Due to continuing growth in demand, we currently have vacancies for freelance fully qualified Registered Sign Language Interpreters nationwide. We are looking for NRCPD/RBSLI-registered BSL/English Interpreters with experience and capability to carry out assignments in legal settings (including Crown Court and Jury Service). You must be willing to travel to assignments, therefore access to a vehicle or public transport is essential and travel costs will be reimbursed.
Freelance interpreters working on behalf of Clarion are expected to have a clear understanding of the role of a BSL/English Interpreter in undertaking face to face assignments and to abide by the NRCPD/NUBSLI code of conduct at all times. An enhanced DBS will also be required.
