The placement is for approximately 10-12 months, commencing Summer 2023 and will be based at Police Headquarters, Enderby, Leicester working in the Business Support Team within East Midlands Specialist L&D Hub (EMSLDH).
The role will include gathering analytical data, analysing this to provide reports to senior stakeholders around Learning and Development programmes and to ensure compliance is maintained. EMSLDH oversee all Police Training for the East Midland Police Services.
The force currently provide training attendance data, compliance data, responds to FOI requests and produces KPI and ad-hoc reports. You will work alongside the Data Analyst Team to help design and develop reports and dashboards to meet force requirements.
During the placement, we would provide the necessary support and guidance for you to acquire good experience and skills, which are in high demand in the Data Analyst role, including:
- Creating Power BI dashboards using data from a variety of sources.
- Producing reports identifying compliance, which will inform learning and development planning for the force.
- Responding to a wide range of FOI requests.
- Identifying, gathering and reporting on relevant data for key stakeholders.
