Our client based in Northampton require an International Sales Support Representative to take responsibility of handling their international customers and distributor enquiries and orders in a professional and timely manner.
Responsibilities
1. Achieve set objectives for defined international countries when receiving enquires/ orders/calls from customers and sales representatives with the relevant information and enquiry details.
2. Successfully build a good trading relationship with the customers (and international sales representatives on the road when applicable).
3. Answering all overflow incoming UK sales calls when required within 3 rings, in a polite friendly manner.
4. Prepare Sales reports for the Commercial director for your international territories on a regular basis. (Sales/GP/Product mix analysis/Opportunity & Risk highlights)
5. Keep all customer records up to date with relevant information.
6. Achieve a high level of accuracy on all orders when both up-selling and cross-selling to increase both size and order value. Weekly internal follow up on all outstanding orders/back orders.
7. Achieve and exceed Sales, Gross Profit, targets as set by the Line Manager.
8. Process orders and enquiries following Quality Control Procedures.
9. Where applicable to follow both ISO and SOX procedures as laid down by the company.
10. Ensure that all Quotations and enquiries are dealt with recording the correct information and submitted by the set deadline.
11. Record and update the customer database with relevant information and filed appropriately.
12. Ensure that all reporting is done correctly and on a timely basis.
13. Carry out work willingly and well, being receptive to new ideas and promote a good atmosphere.
14. Ensure that all communication to customers both written and verbal maintains a high standard both in presentation and content.
15. Work as necessary to provide optimum cover to customers during office hours.
16. Attend staff meetings, training courses, exhibitions and seminars as and when required within the UK and abroad.
17. Give support to team members and assist other departments when necessary.
18. Be an enthusiastic team player at all times.
19. Participate in special projects, perform other tasks and duties as required to support the business needs.
Experience of working in a Medical or Pharmaceutical Market Telesales department
Busy sales environment whilst under pressure.
