The Practice Development and Education Team provide support, training and education to a variety of learners in practice. This includes pre and post Registration Nurses, Trainee Nursing Associates, Health Care Assistants, Return to Practice Nurses, Internationally Recruited Nurses and provision of Clinical Skills. The team works across the Trust linking in with external organisations and other Trusts.
An exciting fixed term/secondment opportunity has arisen for an innovative, highly motivated, and experienced administrator to join our International Recruitment workstream within the Practice Development and Education department. Full time: 37.5 hours per week

The post holder will support a warm welcome to internationally recruited colleagues joining the NNUHFT. As a primary point of contact for internationally recruited staff you will work alongside colleagues in The Central Recruitment Team, Human Resources, Payroll, Accommodation Services, with Ward Managers, Divisional Leads and Clinical Educators at NNUH alongside the International Recruitment Hub at the James Paget University Hospital and other external agencies, as required, to ensure that coming to work at the NNUH is a positive and streamlined experience.
The post holder will provide a range of administrative duties to ensure that all components of an internationally recruited colleagues on--boarding process from recruitment, through to joining their team as a registered professional are well managed and comprehensive.
The post holder will provide audit and evaluation of the current administrative and pastoral processes utilised to support and welcome internationally recruited colleagues and lead on making improvements to these processes, working under the supervision of the Practice Development Nurse.
The post holder will support the inclusion of an increasing range of internationally recruited colleagues, as determined by workforce need and in liaison with the respective Service Leads.

- The post holder is required to work with autonomy on a variety of tasks, prioritising own workload on a day-to-day basis and also providing cover for departmental colleagues during staff absences and holidays.
- Accurate recording of information and data relating to international recruitment.
- Produce regular activity reports for relevant meetings, committees and boards.
- To administer courses ensuring required training spaces, equipment and personnel are available.
- To be a primary point of contact for internationally recruited colleagues and in a timely and courteous manner provide advice, information, guidance and reassurance as required to a range of contacts, most importantly to internationally recruited colleagues, ensuring their needs are met.
- To administer meetings, preparing agendas, take minutes arrange venues and assist Educators and other department staff with correspondence.
