Job description
This is a remarkable opportunity to join the UK’s leading provider of award winning factual programming and learn about all aspects of the documentary television business.
TVF International is a dynamic company providing high quality factual programming to broadcasters around the globe. We identify the needs of international and UK broadcasters and acquire and co-produce programmes from programme makers to fulfill those needs. Our team is divided into three teams: the Sales team who sell into broadcasters across the globe; the Acquisitions team who acquire and co-produce programmes from producers; and the Content Operations team who manage our programmes, library and catalogue.
Based in central London and part of the TVF Media group (www.tvf.co.uk) we currently have two trainee posts. The training scheme is focussed and structured with formal points of assessment. It is based on the assumption that successful candidates will after a three month training period become permanent members of the broadcaster team handling and closing deals with television and online channels across the globe.
All candidates should have an excellent educational background and be able to demonstrate a passion for documentary programming and new forms of communication. Some sales or customer facing experience is essential and fluency in more than one language is an advantage. The successful candidates will also be able to show the charisma, charm and force of personality to enthuse broadcasters with programming and close deals, and the editorial understanding to make appropriate programme judgments.
At TVF Media, we are focused on supporting your career progression and wellbeing. In joining our team, you will also become eligible for our range of benefits, including our pension scheme, private healthcare insurance cashback scheme, hybrid working, Cycle to Work, frequent company socials and biannual parties, gym and festival ticket discounts, and more!
We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace, and actively support and encourage people from a variety of backgrounds, experiences and skill sets to join us and help shape what we do.
If you have what it takes to fulfill this unique and challenging role, please apply now!
