We now have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Development Manager to join our International Clothing & Home Development Team. This role is key to enabling us to deliver the International 5 year growth ambition and the longer term horizon. This will involve seeing opportunities and recommending logistics solutions to deliver change. Then creating scalable solutions across all our selling channels (Retail, D2C and B2B inc Marketplace).
An overview of what you'll be involved in:
- Develop logistics solutions to support both continuous improvement, issue resolution and strategic change across all logistics channels. Feeding into the project pipeline to support the Clothing & Home roadmap
- Develop business plan including the operational and financial analysis and present in a way which drives clear decision making
- Complete Request For Proposals to support detailed business plan. Provide costings, evaluations of operational change/s and work with operational teams to ensure solution design is optimal and meets requirements
- Deliver projects to agreed timescales and to achieve expected outputs within budget
- Understand programme dependencies and work across teams to ensure change is delivered effectively and in a joined-up way with thorough understanding of the E2E Supply Chain network
- Establish relevant projects and change frameworks appropriate for the project/programme(s) (i.e., appropriate levels of governance, impact assessments etc.)
- Identification, monitoring and managing of project risks. Including working with key business partners to agree mitigation strategies and rise where necessary with a particular focus on maintaining service to our partners and channels
- Provide status updates at the appropriate level according to the audience and facilitate decision making to ensure critical path is kept
We are looking for someone who is a strategic problem solver who has Supply Chain & Logistics experience covering both D2C and B2B. In addition, they will need the ability to look beyond existing methodologies to define and resolve complex problems and challenge the status quo to deliver simple operational processes.
