JOB MISSION:
The International Finance Analyst will support the International Finance Team in the preparation of month end, forecast and budget reporting, by maintaining and controlling standard reporting distributed to internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for UK based cost centre reporting for Global Football and collation of royalties reporting for Football Clubs. Working closely with key stakeholders across EMEA, China, Japan, LATAM and APAC we are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
We offer hybrid working and a flexibility to working hours to accommodate for a healthy work life balance. Ideal candidates will be in the office 2-3 days per week.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Assist the International Finance Controller in preparing/ reviewing standard month end reporting and assist with additional detail required from global finance partners
- Take ownership of the global FX analysis and commentary for both actual and forecast results
- Assist with the production of PowerPoint slides for the Supply, Demand & Inventory monthly meetings by producing tables and graphs
- Provide Finance support to LATAM region as required
Global Football
- Assist in cost centre reporting and analysis, supporting UK based cost centre Manager (actuals, budget, monthly forecasting)
- Report on monthly and quarterly financials and communicate results to Senior Football Management (internally)
- Support US based teams in forecasting long range plans and provide ad hoc assistance for other reporting on Football Business Unit
- Distribute templates globally to gather sales data on styles attracting royalties for Football Club sponsorship agreements
- Support US based Finance and Sports Marketing teams in contract renewal and new contracts for players and teams including ongoing ROI on those contracts
- Other ad hoc finance duties as required where the business has requested further analysis.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:E
- Previous experience working in Finance- ideally within International Finance
- Finance or Business degree, or AAT Accounting qualification
- Studying for or passed post graduate Finance qualification (CIMA, ACCA)
- Ability to manipulate large sets of data, standardise information received from several sources/ formats and a good knowledge of standard formula, functions, pivot tables and produce graphs and charts
- Proficient with Microsoft suit- Excel and PowerPoint must be advance
- Excellent communicator – able to manage both internal and external stakeholders
- Team first mentality with the desire to continuously collaborate
- Ability to prioritise tasks while working to tight deadlines and re-prioritise as ad-hoc tasks arise
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent time organisation and ability to work efficiently in a hybrid office environment
- Oracle EPM experience or Microsoft Dynamic 365 would be advantageous
- Keen interest in Football would be an advantage
