Inside Sales Representative - Veterinary Industry
Do you have sales experience and new business development experience?
Are you a dynamic and results-driven individual with a knack for building strong customer relationships and driving sales growth? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our dedicated team at Covetrus.
Position Overview:
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a vital role in expanding sales within both existing Covetrus accounts and new ones. Your primary responsibility will be achieving set sales targets by promoting and selling pharmaceuticals, consumables, human medicines, and related categories to the Veterinary Industry. You'll actively engage with customers, initiate sales, support our Field Sales Team, and contribute to the overall growth of our business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with customers, responding promptly to inquiries and providing product information, pricing, and availability.
  • Utilize CRM tools to document interactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping of customer communications.
  • Proactively follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
Sales and Business Development:
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by promoting products and services effectively.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base.
  • Conduct outbound sales calls and emails, converting prospects into valued customers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement sales campaigns and promotions.
Product Knowledge and Expertise:
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our diverse product portfolio, including pharmaceuticals, vaccines, nutritional supplements, and medical equipment.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Tele-sales experience desired, but not required.
  • Proven ability to meet targets with a strong knowledge of customer management.
  • Minimum of GCSE/Standard Grade Level education.
  • Excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills.
  • Flexibility and excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Highly motivated with a proven track record in a Sales environment.
  • Commercial awareness and experience working in a professional, fast-paced office environment.
