Internal IT Apprenticeship
What you'll do
We utilise Microsoft technologies across the business, integrate with cloud solutions and are hosted within a datacentre. You will learn about how technology, software solutions, and hybrid-working are supporting and enabling our growth and create new and exciting opportunities and challenges!
On a daily basis you’ll monitor support tickets and provide first response troubleshooting services for colleagues, being a first line point of communication for all IT queries, escalating issues as appropriate.
The work demands frequent interactions with individuals and teams across the business which can be achieved through both virtual and in person communication. It’s important you provide an excellent level of customer service, responding to issues promptly and professionally, whilst maintaining security, preventing unauthorised access to systems and raising issues in a timely manner, ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times and data protection and security policies are adhered to.
You’ll help with the development and maintenance of network infrastructure as required and with the configuration, installation and deployment of IT equipment including desktops, laptops, mobile devices and printers. Performing hardware repairs and upgrades as required, identifying and diagnosing hardware and software issues (pro-actively and re-actively) and recommending appropriate solutions.

We’re looking for a personable and friendly problem solver with a genuine curiosity to improve their technical IT skills. You’ll need excellent communication skills, be able to deliver to deadlines and be prepared to go the extra mile to exceed expectations and be able to multitask effectively.
Good GCSE Qualifications or equivalent in English and Maths are essential.

Additional Information
Hours of work are Monday – Friday 09.00 to 17.30 with one hour for lunch, totalling 37.5 hours per week.
This is an office-based role. If not travelling in your own vehicle, please note that the nearest train stations are Birchwood or Padgate (1km away) or bus route #25 from Warrington Town Centre/Birchwood.
Salary £21,225 per annum.
