THE GIG
The role will work with the Group Internal Reporting Manager to ensure that the month end reporting is completed accurately and timely and co-ordinates consistently across Finance globally.
As our Internal Group Reporting Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Responsible for the preparation and consolidation of Monthly Group Management Accounts ensuring they remain a useful management tool.
- Preparation of the CFO monthly Board Trading Report ensuring completeness and consistency with other sources of information.
- Control of and preparation of Weekly DTC performance reporting at a Global level, working with the Regional Finance teams to ensure consistency and providing a central guideline for group policies on like for like measures.
- Work closely with other Finance teams (Group Accounting, FP&A, Supply Chain Finance and Regional Finance) to drive consistency of treatment and definitions.
- Understand the forecast and Budget process and how it impacts on the reporting cycles – determining the key deliverables from other teams (most notably FP&A) and communicating potential bottlenecks and omissions.
- Prepare and maintain process notes for all aspects of the role
- Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards across the business
- Ensure all transactions and processes align with the Group Accounting Manual and Group Policies and Procedures, including signed confirmation of the Group Checklist from Regional Heads.
- Ownership/support on other projects as necessary

THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART
Put simply, for this role the key things we’re looking for are:
- ACCA qualified
- Experience of multi-site multi-currency FMCG/Retail businesses is an advantage but not a requirement
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, to agreed timetables and deadlines
- Confidence to build credibility quickly with stakeholders within and outside of the Finance function
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to use PowerPoint and Word
- Experience with D365 (Microsoft Dynamics) desirable but not essential
- Experience using Onestream desirable but not essential
