About the Team
Our Internal Comms team supports both company and team-level communications needs with the aim of achieving the best communications outcomes. We strive to empower and connect our employees through authentic, direct and effective communications with the goal of fostering trust and a sense of belonging. We are looking for a new member to support across its European markets as part of a global team. This role will partner with key stakeholders across various business units and functions in Europe from across the board, to connect to a wide variety of audiences with discrete communication needs.
Responsibilities
1. Partner with key stakeholders across various business units and functions in Europe from across the ByteDance ecosystem, to connect to a wide variety of audiences with discrete communication needs.
2. Develop and execute communications programmes that deepen engagement and trust between the company and our employees.
3. Lead or support regional All Hands and market level Town Halls, and ensure updates are delivered in an engaging way that galvanises the team around key company moments and connects the team to company strategy and goals.
4. Lead or support communications around important company announcements from internal team changes to broader updates impacting the business and its' operations, press cycles and beyond.
5. Connect our people to our key company and business initiatives as well as narratives in interesting ways through proactive programmes, e.g. Leverage diverse formats to create impact and engaging content that our teams want to tune in to.
6. Be a trusted advisor and provide internal communications recommendations on critical efforts made by critical functional network.
Qualifications
1. 5 + years of communications, marketing or similar field experience
2. A self-starter who is motivated, takes initiative, and works well in a fast-paced environment.
3. Excellent strategic, analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
4. A creative-content lover or creator will have an opportunity to flex their muscles in this role.
5. Experience working on internal communications and/ or internal culture initiatives preferred.
6. Crisis handling experience preferred but not a prerequisite.
