Internal Communication Manager (Inside IR35)
Contract Term: 6 Months – possibility of extension
Contracting Authority: Ministry of Defence
Working Hours: Parttime - 3 days per week
Location: Remote – may be required to attend site once per month in Corsham

As a Internal Communication Manager, your main responsibilities would be:
Duties:
· Working to the Internal Comms lead the postholder will help deliver all aspects of an internal communications plan to deliver the next stage of functional integration including detailed stakeholder engagement, analysis, channel recommendations, key message/narrative production, monitoring and evaluation.
· Produce a suite of digital and traditional communication assets in support of the agreed functional integration communications plan including but not limited to: setting up regular stakeholder engagement meetings, drafting core narrative, writing key messages, producing regular communications artifacts, helping support management briefing packs, populating SharePoint information sites. The exact requirements will evolve over the six-month contract.
· Manage communication activities to time and budget across all delivery channels.
· Build and maintain strong effective relationships with those working on the functional integration comms change programmes (including senior stakeholders in Defence Digital), across Defence Digital and the wider digital function.
· Be the subject expert for these functional communication channels and share expertise with communication colleagues.
Essential:
· Previous experience in communications field
· Previous experienced working in a large complex organisation
· Well versed in stakeholder engagement
· Open minded & enthusiastic person who is comfortable working as part of a broad team
Desirable:
· Basic graphic or design experience would be beneficial
