Join us as an Internal Business Development Manager
- We’ll look to you to work within the Channel team across a wide geographical area to achieve new lead origination for Take Payments
- You’ll develop and build a strong internal and external profile through introducer relationships and networking to support the growth of market share resulting in material new business for Take Payments
- This is an opportunity to utilise your influencing and relationship management skills in order to balance and manage diverse internal and external stakeholders
What you'll do
As an Internal Business Development Manager, you’ll be engaging and working with all UK bank teams to present Take Payments, identifying and developing increased lead flow through existing and new channels. You’ll be developing opportunities with existing partners, identifying new partnerships, negotiating referral contracts with them through a variety of partner organisations and their clients across multiple industry sectors.
You’ll also be:
- Continually inputting to and implementing the Take Payments business development strategy to achieve the financial targets and client numbers set
- Collaborating with internal teams, driving and monitoring leads and providing results or feedback to UK bank teams and senior stakeholders through effective use of MI to assess performance
- Assisting in the preparation of appropriate pitching documents, liaising with other product partners, bankers, tenders team and services
- Using data to drive SMART origination efforts, including using marketing campaigns
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone with strong interpersonal, negotiation and networking skills with the ability to engage with and influence stakeholders. You’ll need a proven track record in an origination role, where direct accountability for developing business featured.
You’ll also demonstrate:
- The ability to work side by side with product or propositions and sales teams in order to grow both lead generation and business
- A good understanding of both SME and corporate markets, including financial, economic and market awareness
