The role
Our Business Risk Assurance Services team offers our clients an independent, objective and rigorous audits of their business. Our internal audits enable our customers to improve performance and ensure good corporate governance. Our audits are geared towards understanding business goals and ambitions, and that supporting our clients to achieve them.
We offer a fresh approach to internal audit. Our risk-based approach positions the audit in the context of your own risk management framework, making it into a cornerstone of governance. We work with Board and Audit Committees to develop a deep understanding of a business’s financial, operational and governance risks, and to deliver a clear, tailored and practical report, free from lengthy disclaimers and caveats.
As part of your role as an Internal Audit Associate you will plan for and complete the fieldwork for a range of audit reviews agreed as part of internal audit plans. You will have regular meetings and briefings with client staff regarding progress, issues and likely recommendations arising from the work. You will also liaise with client managers within the team and will summarise your work in an internal audit report at the end of your fieldwork.

Key accountabilities
We have created a first-class training and development programme and, by starting your career at Azets, in addition to the comprehensive on the job training, you will also be given all the support you need to complete a professional qualification, including college and/or study days, mentoring and a designated buddy.
We offer a range of different qualification pathways at Azets which are determined by the role you are applying for. The qualification that will be undertaken for this position will be the CIA.
