The ATP Tour, Inc. is the governing body of the men's professional tennis circuits - the ATP Tour, the ATP Challenger Tour and the ATP Champions Tour. With 64 tournaments in 31 countries, the ATP Tour showcases the finest male athletes competing in the world’s most exciting venues. The purpose of the ATP is to own, sanction, schedule and administer one or more circuits of professional tennis tournaments; to own one or more professional tennis tournaments; to develop, promulgate, and administer rules, regulations and grievance procedures to ensure the fair and orderly conduct of professional tennis tournaments and circuits thereof and the sport of professional tennis; to promote and further the interest of professional tennis players and professional tennis tournaments and circuits thereof throughout the world; to promote the interest of one or more public charities; to improve the conditions under which professional tennis players engage in their occupation; to increase the status and public perception of professional tennis as a major world class international sport; to promote and protect the future of the sport of professional tennis; and to encourage interest in the sport of tennis.

The Intern, Strategy & Business Planning will report directly to the Senior Director, Strategy & Business Planning, but at times will work across different business units in the organisation. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the implementation of the ATP’s long-term strategic plan. The position is ideally based in London to optimise coordination and workflow with key stakeholders but will work remotely with teams based around the world.
The role is a 6-month internship.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Support on key initiatives that drive the implementation of the ATP’s strategic plan
- Support on complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Develop high-level presentations for internal & external stakeholders
- Perform data analysis and business modelling to drive data-driven decision making
- Support the creation, refinement & execution of strategies and long-term goals
- Conduct ad-hoc research & analysis to support key strategic decisions
- Collaborate with other business units
- Other responsibilities as required
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Experience in consultancy and strategic projects
- Experience in creating and delivering presentations to stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficient working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
- Able to distil large amounts of information into logical & succinct recommendations
- Able to work collaboratively in a team but also develop projects independently
- Comfortable with ambiguity in an ever-changing environment
- Working knowledge of the sports, media & entertainment sector is advantageous

- Satisfactory reviews from Senior Director, Strategy & Business Planning with input from business stakeholders
- Timely completion of projects
- Achievement of KPIs established by Senior Director, Strategy & Business Planning
