Salary: £55-80k, bonus up to £16k per year paid quarterly, + car

Our client is the UK's leading provider of health and safety and technical training, and they are currently looking for an Operations Director to join the existing board of directors. You will oversee our 80+ strong team of trainers and ensure that our training facilities and equipment are always up-to-date and fit for purpose.
Duties
- As Operations Director, you will manage Continued Professional Development [CPD] ensuring all current / planned skills and knowledge is relevant, up to date and meets the requirements of the awarding bodies.
- You’ll create and manage a recruitment and development plan.
- You will be actively involved in the maintenance and operating capability of the training facilities, ensuring the equipment, training rooms and practical areas are all fit for purpose.
- You’ll contribute to the creation of course material and reports both internally and externally to clients.
- You will provide analysis on the performance of trainers, drawing insights leading to their improvement, and formulating lasting solutions and development of new strategies.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years working experience in training, course development, and management at a senior level.
- Industry recognised qualification e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH, PASMA, IPAF, CITB or similar.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills and a passion for research and data analysis.
- Flexibility and ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision.
- Calm and composed in times of uncertainty.
- Positive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Creativity, constantly striving to find fresh ways to improve the training delivery.
- A desire to seek out future opportunities for growth.
- The ability to find creative solutions to challenges.
