The Role:

CogX is seeking an enthusiastic Intern for its Intelligence & Research Unit based in CogX’s office in Marylebone Place, Bond Street, London. The role will be for 3-12 months (negotiable) and will support the Intelligence & Research team with research and writing of briefings on some of the world’s most influential topics, including the impact of AI, the future of technology and global economic progress.

The Intelligence and Research Unit was created to provide a CogX view on some of the most interesting questions of the day. In your role you will research, help write and publish thought leadership across different channels. If you’re intellectually curious and looking for an experience where you will learn about the biggest trends shaping our world, have access to global experts, and build valuable researching and writing skills, this role could be for you.


Key Responsibilities


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a researcher, and contribute to writing, regularly published CogX content including weekly briefings.
  • Research and contribute to thought leadership papers on a variety of topics such as AI, economic growth and tech transformation.
  • Keep on top of the latest trends and developments in key topics such as AI
  • Learn how to use new AI tools which can help make writing content more efficient
  • Support on marketing initiatives and analysis of CogX newsletters to drive increased engagement

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


Skills and Experience:
  • The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and enthusiastic about being a part of the Research and Intelligence team
  • A high degree of intellectual curiosity on trends shaping the world and a keen interest in AI and Technology
  • A demonstrated ability to conduct research and work effectively in teams
  • An ability to write effectively and concisely for different audiences
  • Awareness or a desire to learn how to analyse metrics on the impact of published content and building online engagement with content.
  • Interest in marketing content and ability to work with the Marketing team on social campaigns
