Overview:
Our 10 week Summer Internship programme offers talented University students an opportunity to go beyond the classroom to develop leadership skills and gain meaningful hands on experience working as part of a global support team with professionals across the enterprise. Additionally, interns will participate in scheduled activities throughout the summer, including sessions with Senior Leaders, site tours, volunteer opportunities, and other social events
Department: Finance
Start date: July 2023
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (35 hours per week)
Location: Basildon, Essex (office based)
Salary: £20,000
Department Overview and Roles and Responsibilities
The Finance department are responsible for making financial decisions and reports to support business efficiency and growth such as ensuring that budgets are met, and decisions are based on financial analysis.
Working for EMEA Finance you will work closely with the team across a broad spectrum of finance activities including:
Month end deliverables – working to analyse month end performance
Pricing and business case modelling
KPI analysis and reporting
Ad hoc activities and tasks
Qualifications and Skills
Progression towards completion of a degree in 2024 with demonstrated academic achievement. Must be working towards a 2.1 or above. We are open to degree areas.
Must have advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge and have a technical aptitude to learn new applications quickly
Able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively meet deadlines
Strategic and creative thinking; distinguished written and oral communications skills
Must possess unrestricted work authorisation and pass background checks
