Role Purpose



As a Senior Product Manager at Curve, you are key to driving the product pipeline from inception to steady state and beyond. You’re passionate about customers, technology, engineering and product excellence. You go deep into the numbers and want to be in the trenches with engineers and CX when needed, but surface for stakeholders. You can demonstrate tenacity, pragmatism and empathetic leadership, analytical prowess and can speak to all levels.


You will own KPIs, product backlog and lead one of our multidisciplinary product teams of mobile, backend and data engineers. You will work closely with other stakeholders from various groups in the company, such as Operations, CX and Marketing.


Key Accountabilities

  • Work closely with the team to research and validate your assumptions with our users in mind, running experiments and analysing the results.
  • Be actively involved in stand-ups, making sure that delivery remains viable while providing the best experience for our customers.
  • Communicate constantly and deliver the product vision within your team and across the company
  • Gather requirements, determine the design work, write and prioritise user-stories, and manage your team as a startup within a startup.
  • Develop and execute our go-to-market launch plans for new features.
  • Identify market opportunities and contribute to the product vision and business strategy.
  • Meet frequently with marketing, data, engineering and other Curve's stakeholders to both capture requirements and communicate progress of the pipeline.
  • Gathering post-launch client feedback and quickly capture learnings to adapt the product.
  • Invest in systems, and processes alongside your team members to create world-class best practices.

Requirements:
  • Product management experience having managed at least one entire product development cycle from concept to launch. Within the FinTech and/or Financial Services industry is a bonus
  • Always put the customer first, seeking to validate your assumptions against real customer feedback and data.
  • Have proven track record leading with complex strategic and operational initiatives, working through technical, operational, legal/policy and business issues
  • Have a great eye for understanding and tracking data, using your analytical skills to support the evolution of Curve's product roadmap.
  • Have entrepreneurial DNA: flexible to changes, eager to learn, proactive to act, resilient to failure, persistent in making an impact.
  • Are bold, tenacious, and not afraid to challenge the status quo, always supported by facts, data and empirical research.
  • Can efficiently and effectively triangulate product complexity from an engineering, design and business perspective and make bold decisions against risk/reward
  • Are excellent at stakeholder management at all levels
  • Understands shielding and absorbing impact and owning failure and risk.
  • Are a great communicator, an engaging storyteller that brings everyone together towards a shared vision.
  • You can understand engineering technology, patterns and architectures, and can speak to engineers at a low and high level.
  • High level competency with the PM toolkit (Figma (Mid-Level), Confluence, Jira, etc.)
